3rd Coast Panama Chunk Flower
Type: Hybrid (Unsure of dominance or % breakdown)
If I had to guess, I’d say slightly Sativa-dominant at 60%/40%
Genotype: 3rd Coast Panama Chunk = I95 X Panama X Deep Chunk
I95 = Triangle Kush X (Legend OG X Stardawg)
Panama = If not ‘Panama Red”, then it’s most likely a combo of Panama and Colombian ‘red’ Sativas.
Deep Chunk = Afghani landrace genetics. Original breeder is Tom Hill.

Phenotype Profile: This sample consisted of many popcorn-sized buds. Visually, these ‘budlets’ don’t really stand out in any particular way. Mid-greens and a moderate amount of orange hairs with minimal visual appearance of trichs. This sample was also a little on the dry side. That said, this bud still might be an impressive smoke. Let’s see...
Bud Density: 4 [1 -5]
Terpene Profile: In its intact state, this bud smelled of citrus and pungent-sweet notes. Once ground, sour-pine hits you in combo with a strong Stardawg diesel , which mingles with pungent citrus. When smoked, this sample tasted of sweet-pine-citrus with sweet perfume-like notes on the exhale. For my palate, this was a very unique flavor profile.
TIP: To learn all about terpenes, see the Terpenes Library page.
Effects: Definitely a fair amount of head high to start. Really hits you in the lids first, but in short order a body high joins in. And just when you think the effects have plateaued, they climb higher. It’s a very potent, slightly Sativa-leaning high that can really sneak up on you. Great for those looking for something new though I wouldn’t recommend it for first-timers.
Duration of Effects: 2+ hours
May Help With: Helped with stress and sleep. May also help with body pain, nerve pain, mood, appetite (and more)
Don’t let this bud’s deceptively generic physical appearance fool you. An interesting and refreshing flower that offers some unique terpenes and effects. That said, bud selection (i.e., intact buds) for this sample was lacking.
