What is “Live Resin”?
Live Resin is a specific type of cannabis extract whereby fresh cannabis flowers (i.e., buds not yet dried and cured) are harvested at their apex of maturity, cryogenically flash frozen under very cold temperatures and then used as the extraction material in the manufacturing process of that extract. The process of manufacturing Live Resin is an effort to retain as much of the fresh terpenes (and cannabinoids) from the cannabis and capture them in the final product to provide a more complete terpene profile experience.

On Aeriz’ website, they describe their aeroponic growing method as follows: “In aeroponics, a plant is suspended in the air without the use of dirt or other grow mediums. Below the plant’s root zone lies a state-of-the-art nutrient delivery system. Oxygen-rich, nutrient-infused water is misted directly into each plant’s root zone on a precisely timed schedule.”

Physical Characteristics: Not a loose sauce consistency, as if the sauce had thickened or gelled up over time. However, the product was quite fresh (per lable dates) so it’s possible that this batch’s consistency was like this from the beginning. Small, uniform crystals (i.e., diamonds) throughout.
Terpene Profile: I did not request the lab report for this sample, so I will not be providing the specific terpene levels for this product.
I had to disturb this diamonds and sauce to evoke an aroma, which was a combination of light sweet, sour and pine. The aromas were mild. When dabbed, I tasted sweet, tart candy on the inhale and exhale, and lemon and light gas on the exhale. I typically don’t detect any fuel with the flower, but I did with this stacked sauce. The flavors were moderate in intensity.
TIPS: Low temperature dabbing is mandatory to achieve the most flavorful and potent experience. To learn about terpenes, see the Terpenes Library.
Effects: This sauce and diamonds really allows for the headiness of this strain to come through unlike any of my experiences with ARC’s flower. Think a dawg or diesel headiness. I would guess this is coming from the Sour D and OG influences. There’s also a steady, low, energetic hum that joins in early on and merges with the head stone. The result is a perfect daytime set of medical effects at low and moderate doses.
Duration of Effects: 2-3 hours
May Help With: Helped with mood and G.I. cramps. May also help a range of body and nerve pain, anxiety, mood, fatigue, appetite (and more)
An excellent diamonds and sauce. If this batch had harnessed a bit more flavor and offered a looser consistency, it would have received my 5/5 rating.
