Phenotype Profile: This sample consisted of a 1-gram dark green, surprisingly GSC-like dense bud with lots of reddish-orange hairs and dipped in frostiness.
Bud Density: 4.5 [1 -5]
Terpene Profile: I did not request the lab report for this sample, so I will not be providing the specific terpene levels for this product.
In its intact state, this bud emitted a light tart sweetness that reminded me of the Pink Lemonade strain. Once ground, this bud smelled of GSC toasty sweetness with pungent earthy Kush undertones while the sweetness took a back seat. The aromas opened up and transformed a bit after the bud was ground up. When smoked, this sample tasted of sweet earth up front with floral notes on the exhale. The sweet earth did linger and coated the palate, just as it can with GDP.
TIP: To learn about terpenes, see the Terpenes Library.
Effects: The ride was pure Sativa: elevating, euphoric and energetic and focused. And unlike say a Durban Poison, this one does not inject you with adrenaline, though you may get a little anxious at high doses. This one turns on the brain and can be conducive to social, intellectual and creative activities. I could draw with clarity and energy at low doses. Don’t get me wrong, though. The Candyland strain is tops out at in the low 20s THC level, so this batch was also potent.
Duration of Effects: 2 hours
May Help With: Helped with mood and energy. May also help with mild pain, depression, appetite, nausea, headaches, creativity booster (and more)
An excellent entry from Grassroots.
