Officer Dick Downey's Pot Report
Gumbo: Just Another Manic Monday
Last week I pulled over a so called medical cannabis patient for a routine speeding ticket. Along with her ID and insurance, this young female toker accidentally handed me her grueling To-Do List for the day, which I thought I’d share with you...
Monday - Things To Do
Get up, Get ready
Get ID, $$$
Go Target to shop
Lunch (gyro, no onions)
Stop at dispensary
Go home and roll joint
Play Halo 5
Type: Indica-dominant Hybrid (% breakdown unknown, but it’s a heavy-leaning Indica)
Genotype: Gumbo = OG Kush pheno X Ogre Kush pheno (might be a Sensi Star pheno)
The lineage provided here is merely an educated guess at best and may be partially or completely incorrect.
Described by Cresco as an exclusive strain for them here in Illinois.
Date Purchased: 06/30/2016
TIP: To learn how you can use this cannabinoids data to better your health, see the Cannabinoids Library page.
Phenotype Profile: The buds from this sample were a mix of light and mid greens with twisting orange hairs throughout and a large calyx structure. The buds were of medium density and had decent trichome coverage.
Bud Density: 3.5 [1-5]
Terpenes Profile: In its intact bud form, this sample emitted sweet, earthy and lightly pungent aromas. Once ground, the pine and pungent notes come to the forefront and mingle with sweetness. When smoked, this sample tasted lightly pungent and earthy with a distinct though very mild classic bubblegum flavor and aftertaste, which is a signature of this strain but not highly expressed in this batch.
TIP: To learn all about terpenes, see the Terpenes Library page.
Effects: A relaxing classic Indica body high that offers feelings of contentment and happiness all around. This strain does not cause heavy couch lock with normal use, though it will help you chill.
Duration of Effects: 1+ hour(s)
May Help With: mood, stress, depression, bipolar disorder, appetite, migraines, glaucoma, muscle spasms and tremors, mild-to-moderate body pain, some forms of nerve pain, insomnia (and more)
Offers a decent level of body relaxation and a unique flavor profile. Effects were a little short-lived and some characteristics were subdued. A good Indica flower with the potential for greatness.

The trials and tribulations of a stoner. Folks I can't make this stuff up.
And remember, the next time you turn around, turn around again...’cause I’ll be there.
