Holy Grail Kush: Forever In Blue Jeans
Last weekend an 11-81 comes over the radio. That’s code for a civilian ‘In Distress with Injuries’. I’m just a few minutes from the location, so I take the call. I arrive at a popular dance club, where I’m escorted to a back office. There, huddled in a blanket, is a sobbing, 20-something young woman. She seems inconsolable.
“Is the ambulance on the way?” she asks, in between sobs.
“Yes ma’am. Can you tell me what’s going on? Where are you hurt?”
“I can’t feel my legs! There’s something wrong with my legs!”
“What do you mean, ma’am? Can you stand?”
Ignoring my questions, she yells, “My damn legs are dying! My legs are dying!”
This young woman then suddenly stands up, frantically pulls down her jeans to her ankles and screams, “Look! Look! They’re f**king turning blue!” And then she begins slapping her thighs and crying uncontrollably. At that moment, I observed that the palms of her hands were also becoming blue.
Turns out she had worn a new pair of jeans to the club that evening and after boogying down all night, the dye had leached and stained her skin.
Method of Extraction: Carbon dioxide (C02)
About CO2 Extraction
Carbon Dioxide, or CO2, occurs naturally in our environment: whenever we breathe, with decomposition, and even through ocean release. We find CO2 in our sodas and it’s used as an industrial solvent for creating everything from food extracts to fragrances. It’s known as ‘dry ice’ in its solid form. CO2 is considered safe by the FDA and non-toxic
The generic process is typically referred to as ‘supercritical CO2 extraction’ whereby CO2 is converted to its supercritical state (i.e., having liquid properties while remaining in a gaseous state) by applying very cold temps and pressure and is then used as a solvent to strip the resinous trichomes from the cannabis plant material. All of which occurs in a sophisticated CO2 extraction machine.

Characteristics: A pristine, semi-opaque, dark gold colored sample with a thick, sap-like consistency. Imagine a much thicker than normal honey. It could also be described as thick, sticky and gel-like.
Terpene Profile: I have requested the lab report for this product. will provide the specific terpene levels when/if I get the labs.
Although I’ve partaken in both parents before, I’ve never sampled the Holy Grail flower so I did not know what the flavor profile was for this bud. My research indicates that citrus, spicy and earth notes should be in the mix. On my palate, I found this wax to lack a lot of flavor in general. Overall, there was some light, generic pungency and earth. It was a smooth, high quality smoke, but with a subtle, one-dimensional flavor.
TIPS: Low temperature dabbing is recommended to achieve the most flavorful experience. Dabbing this wax at high temps may degrade the flavor significantly. To learn how you can use this terpenes data to better your health, see the Terpenes Library.
Effects: My tolerance is through the roof, but even at low 70s total THC, this one hit me quite hard after just a dab. For me, the trippy, powerful high of the OG 18 came through the most. Effects also did noticeably radiate to the body. And the high was quite long lasting. Potential to be intense at higher doses.
Duration of Effects: 2-3+ hours, depending on dosage
A top shelf, pure CO2 wax that would have been a perfect 5/5 if it had expressed more flavor. Sampling this wax has got me wanting to try the flower now.

Fabric color transfer can be horrifying.
And remember, the next time you turn around, turn around again...’cause I’ll be there.
