three small popcorn sized buds covered in trichomes, some random orange hairs and purple tinges basking in lots of natural light
product packaging, which is a small, black ziplock foil pouch with a swirled line design

Type: Sativa-Dominant Hybrid (breakdown unknown)

Sunny D  =  Orange Dot  X  Joe’s Lemonade

The above lineage is a phenotype bred by
Darkhorse Genetics. I do not know if Darkhorse is the original breeder.

It might also be: California Orange X OG Kush PR (PR = Private Reserve)

I do not know the specific cut that Ataraxia is cultivating.

Phenotype Profile:
: I don’t like to buy grams because bud selection is limited due to weight, and therefore, usually a gram not a complete representation of the bud. This one-gram sample consisted of several popcorn-sized mid-green buds with some dark purple sugar leaf remnants with random copper pistils and a decent coating of trichomes. This sample was on the dry side.
            Bud Density: 4.0   [1 -5]

Terpene Profile:
I did not request the lab report for this sample, so I will not be providing the specific terpene levels for this product.

In their intact state, this sample emitted an assertive, wonderful aroma of sweet Valencia-like oranges. Reminiscent of the Gelato strain, but with more native Orange and even sweeter. Once ground, this bud smelled of the same sweet orange with light, sour citrus notes. When smoked, this bud tasted of subdued sweet orange with a little skunkiness. Almost a bitter orange sweetness at times. On my palate, the flavor intensity was much less assertive than the aromas, though I think this may have had something to do with the dryness. I would like to experience the flavors of a fresher batch in the form of an 1/8. I grew up watching Sunny D commercials in the late 70s & early 80s and I smell & taste the resemblance.

Starts out as a headiness that is at once stimulating and enjoyable. This Sativa ride is not like a shot of adrenaline. The euphoria is pleasant and sustaining. A great set of effects for socializing and having a night out. I should mention that with THC levels in the mid-20s, what I may experience as “pleasant” might be a more intense high for those with lower tolerances than me. Nevertheless, even if that happens, this Sativa doesn’t seem to carry the anxiety gene so I don’t think you’ll have any issues except for lots of pleasure and enjoyment.

Duration of Effects:
 1.5-2 hours

May Help With:
Helped with mood and energy. May also help with mild aches and pains, depression (and more)

Rating: 4.5
A unique and tasty Sativa that was also expertly cultivated, dried & cured to Ataraxia’s standards. I would like to try a fresher sample in 3.5g size to see what the typical bud structure is and get the full terp experience before making a final determination. A very good candidate for a live resin or wax.
