Phenotype Profile: This sample consisted of several dense buds with large, chunky calyxes and tight, copper pistils covered in stickiness.
Bud Density: 5 [1-5]
Terpene Profile: I did not request the lab report for this product, so I will not be providing specific terpene levels.
In its intact state, the buds emitted aromas of lemon citrus, sweet earth and chem-like notes. Once ground, I was met with lemon, sweet earth and sour notes. When smoked, I tasted a wonderful lemony citrus with sweet earth on the exhale. An OG smooth and tasty smoke.
TIP: To learn about terpenes, see the Terpenes Library.
Effects: This one creeps up; it takes about 10-15 minutes to really take effect. Once it does, you’ll experience a potent, somewhat heady and relaxing stone. For some, this will be a borderline couchlock high. For more seasoned imbibers, the effects will make for a powerful but functional daytime Indica. An ultra-pleasant, relatively long-lasting high that is at once calming and euphoric.
Duration of Effects: 2-2.5+ hours, depending on dosage
May Help With: Helped with stress and sleep. May also help with a range of pain management, PTSD, mood, depression, anxiety, appetite (and more)
An expertly cultivated Reserva Privada. It's reminiscent of the Star Killer bud'sterps. Cresco grew one crop of this strain back in the Fall of 2016, and it seemed like a different cut (or different result) than this current Reserve batch. In fact, I liked that 2016 batch a little more than this one. It was even denser, stickier and more potent, though the buds were visually less impressive than this Reserve batch. Any way you slice it, both attempts are top notch. It’s also worth noting that I’ve been told this is a challenging flower to grow, so kudos to Cresco for taking up the challenge.
